On Thursday 25 June 2026 we took part as a partner in Energy Day ILIOS 2026 in Brno. The event, focused on energy independence, photovoltaics, battery storage and e-mobility, was a great illustration of where modern energy is heading today.
It has long stopped being only about generating electricity. The future belongs to the smart interconnection of technologies that make sense together: from solar panels through battery storage to EV charging stations. And this was one event MyBox simply could not miss.
A day full of technology, inspiration and hands-on demos
Energy Day ILIOS 2026 took place at the headquarters of ILIOS in Brno-Královo Pole and offered a varied programme for everyone interested in modern energy, sustainability and smart solutions for homes and businesses.
Visitors could explore the new ILIOS showroom, get to know the AIRBATTERY storage system, dive into the world of top-tier solar technology thanks to the AIKO truck, and even take test drives in BYD electric cars.
The whole event was rounded off with networking, presentations, catering, a wine tasting and a travel talk by Martin Škaroupka about South America. The result was a day that combined expert content, practical demos and a pleasant atmosphere.
E-mobility is no longer the future. It is part of today’s energy
One of the main themes of the event was energy independence. Today that no longer means just having your own photovoltaics on the roof. An important role is also played by how the generated energy is stored, managed and used efficiently. And this is exactly where e-mobility has its firm place.
Charging electric cars is becoming a natural part of homes, companies, apartment buildings and public spaces. When the charging infrastructure is designed correctly, it can work in tandem with photovoltaics, battery storage and the overall consumption of the building. As a result, a charging station is no longer just a device for topping up a car – it becomes part of a smart energy system.
