OMEXOM, a major player in energy services and infrastructure, has a long-standing focus on sustainability and on modernising its own operations. A key part of that strategy is the gradual electrification of its company fleet across the whole of the Czech Republic.
To secure an efficient and scalable charging infrastructure, OMEXOM partnered with MyBox, which supplies and installs charging stations according to the current needs of each individual branch.
Project brief
The goal of the project is the systematic electrification of the vehicle fleet across 16 branches in the Czech Republic, together with building matching charging infrastructure at each site. The emphasis is on a flexible approach to installation that reflects the real operational needs of every branch and allows investment to be planned efficiently, without committing to one large roll-out at once. The concept also accounts for long-term growth and is designed as a scalable system ready for further expansion as the fleet is progressively electrified.

The solution delivered
The solution is designed as a gradual roll-out of MyBox charging stations across the individual OMEXOM branches.

Installing MyBox AC charging stations
Charging stations are installed step by step, according to how heavily the vehicle fleet is used at the given branch. The project uses the MyBox Profi and MyBox Post models.
This approach makes it possible to adapt the solution flexibly to the specific conditions of each site while keeping a single technological standard. At the same time, investment can be managed efficiently and sufficient charging capacity provided exactly where it is genuinely needed.
Power output and durability
The chosen stations allow two vehicles to be charged simultaneously at up to 2× 22 kW, which covers the needs of ordinary company operations.
The emphasis was placed not only on power output, but also on long-term durability and ease of use:

The stations are designed to run trouble-free in demanding conditions while also representing the company’s modern technological standards.
Smart features and technology
One of the key elements of the solution is integration into the MyBox ecosystem, which enables advanced management and optimisation of operations:
Cloud connection – remote control, monitoring and station management
OCPP communication – integration into higher-level systems
Dynamic load management (DLM) – optimising power draw across the whole site
User authorisation (RFID) – access control and an overview of usage
Option to connect photovoltaics – using surplus energy for charging
Thanks to these features, each branch has full control over both operations and charging costs.
