From Photovoltaics to Electromobility
The homeowners' association committee at Trnkovo náměstí originally addressed the installation of a photovoltaic power plant on the roof of the building.
The subsidy program also included the option to draw support for the construction of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles,
and so the topic of charging became a natural continuation of the entire project.
One of the things I wanted to address after joining the committee was energy savings. Logically, we started with photovoltaics and naturally, the topic of electric vehicle charging was added.

Technical solution from MyBox
The HOA opted for a comprehensive EV charging system from the Czech company MyBox, which met all technical and subsidy requirements.
36 smart MyBox Plus wallboxes were installed in the underground garages, which corresponds to approximately 15% of all parking spaces.
Every wallbox is equipped with a certified electricity meter and NFC authentication, ensuring fair billing for individual parking space owners.
The MyBox Smart Load Management system takes care of evenly distributing power, optimizing the load on the main supply without the need to increase the building's power input.
We wanted as many technologies as possible to be integrated directly into the wallbox – authentication, measurement, power management. MyBox was capable of all this.

Implementation and Cooperation
PowerDrive – TC ECO collaborated on the project, ensuring the complete infrastructure, installation of a new electricity meter cabinet, and necessary inspections.
MyBox supplied and commissioned the wallboxes themselves, including power management configuration and remote management.
Initially, we didn't even know the final price. Only after finding out the final amount did specific interested parties sign up for the wallboxes. MyBox company willingly fine-tuned everything with us and also helped with technical and administrative aspects.
