We had been looking forward to it and prepared thoroughly. It was demanding, but we enjoyed it with visitors and partners. It left us with many impressions that we want to share with you.
Preparation paid off
We had been preparing for the trade fair for several months. We wanted to impress and showcase charging stations at full power. And judging by the feedback, we succeeded. On an area of 200 m2 we displayed thirty charging stations. People watched, tried, compared and asked questions.
We also attracted interest from other companies. We feel that our market position is even stronger after the trade fair. We left the gates of the Prague exhibition grounds tired but with a good feeling.
Czech manufacturing. DLM. Apartment buildings
These three topics were the most frequently asked about by visitors. Many were surprised that we actually manufacture the stations right here in the Czech Republic. And that we pay attention to using European components.
Questions also arose about dynamic load management (DLM). Visitors were well aware of the risk of potential grid overload that could trip circuit breakers. That is why they were interested in DLM solutions. Situations where a charging station and another high-power appliance (heat pump, another charger) run simultaneously are common.
Finally, we were pleasantly surprised by the interest in the topic of installing charging stations in apartment buildings within homeowner associations. For people living in apartments, the availability of charging infrastructure is crucial. It often determines whether they will purchase an electric vehicle or not.
And new products? They also attracted attention
Even before the trade fair, we teased a number of new products. Among them was the ultra-fast DC station, which many had been waiting for. And of course, there was great interest. But there were more new products, and some were perhaps slightly overshadowed by the fast charger.
What were they? For example, a modernised control unit or a new version of the MyBox Park station. It now offers an optional e-bike connector in addition to the 230V socket. It is thus the first hybrid station in our portfolio from which you can charge a car, a bike and other appliances. We will definitely continue in this direction.
We presented an award at EcoRally
As EcoRally partners, we also had to be present at the race that followed the trade fair. We checked out the racing cars, exchanged a few words with partners and, of course, provided the complete charging infrastructure. In the end, we presented the winner of the lowest consumption category with a prize – a MyBox charger.
There was a COMPETITION. And it continues!
We prepared a competition for booth visitors to win a charging station and other valuable prizes. The task was simple – choose a new design that appeals to them the most. We are interested in public opinion. The winning designs will be added to the standard range of MyBox Home and Plus stations. You can join the competition even if you were not at eSALON. Fill in the form, follow us on Instagram (or Facebook or LinkedIn) and compete with us.
What to say in conclusion? Perhaps just a thank you. To the public, experts and journalists. Also to the organisers and other exhibitors. Without all of you, the trade fair would not have had the magic that was created.
