A new subsidy programme from the Ministry of Industry and Trade called "Zaruka Elektromobilita – 1st Call" is financed from the National Recovery Plan. The support covers battery electric vehicles (BEV) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV).
2 parts of the support
This is a programme for entrepreneurs where the state combines a purchase contribution and a loan guarantee.
The first part is a bank guarantee for a commercial loan, provided by the National Development Bank to the dealer from whom the company purchases the vehicle or, optionally, a charging station. The guarantee can cover up to seventy percent of the principal of the guaranteed loan. For standard passenger cars in category M1, the development bank can guarantee a loan for purchasing a vehicle valued from approximately half a million to 1.5 million CZK.
The second part is the financial contribution itself for the purchase of zero-emission vehicles or chargers. For passenger cars, it can reach up to two hundred thousand, for trucks or hydrogen vehicles up to three hundred thousand. For purchasing AC charging stations, a contribution of up to fifty thousand can be obtained, while up to one hundred thousand can be received for DC charging stations with a power output of up to 40 kilowatts. For purchasing even more powerful DC stations, support of up to 150 thousand can be obtained.
The programme launches on 1 January 2024
The Ministry of Industry and Trade will launch the call in December. Applications will be accepted until 30 September 2025, unless the allocated EU funds of CZK 1.95 billion are exhausted before then.
Best to submit the application through a leasing company
Applications for support will be accepted by all branches and regional offices of the National Development Bank. The application must include a completed form, an attachment titled 'Project Application for Support' and a copy of the loan agreement. The legislative procedures should also be manageable through leasing companies from which the applicant purchases the vehicle.
MyBox chargers eligible for the subsidy
In our product range, you can find several types of charging stations that can be financed through the subsidy programme. For AC charging stations intended for business charging, such as MyBox Plus, MyBox Profi, MyBox Post and MyBox Park, you can receive a subsidy of up to CZK 50,000 per charger. For our DC charging station MyBox DC Charger, you can receive a contribution of CZK 150,000. For both types of chargers, the subsidy programme does not limit the quantity, so you can receive support for multiple units.
