Client Profile
Penta Real Estate is a leading real estate company focused on creating innovative and sustainable solutions for cities and their residents. Since 2005, when it was established by separating the real estate division from Penta Investments, it has built a significant position in the real estate market not only in the Czech Republic but also in Slovakia.
Penta Real Estate projects are characterized by efforts to revitalize abandoned industrial areas and transform them into modern and vibrant locations. All projects share the use of modern technologies and consideration of important environmental principles.
To achieve its goals, Penta Real Estate collaborates with renowned experts - architects and engineers - who contribute to the creation of exceptional projects. The company boasts numerous awards received at both national and international levels.
The Masaryčka Project
The Masaryčka project is a living example of how modern architecture and technology can be successfully integrated into the urban environment. The result is urban regeneration of the Masaryk Station brownfield, which takes into account modern ecological standards and the needs of the current market.
What technologies does the building use? Triple-glazed windows reduce heat load, minimizing the need for air conditioning in summer months. Rainwater recycling enables its use for irrigation and toilet flushing.
"We also have a sophisticated cooling system that uses free capacity and ventilation on both the north and south sides of the building," adds Tomáš Veniger, the building asset manager.
Challenge: Creating Charging Infrastructure
Part of the project, which emphasizes sustainability, technology, and savings, must naturally include adequate support for electromobility. The project counted on this from the very beginning.
Penta Real Estate wanted to equip selected parking spaces with charging stations that would meet both current regulations and growing tenant requirements. For these purposes, the company decided to choose Czech MyBox charging stations.
Selecting the Type of Charging Stations
After mutual negotiations, Penta decided to create facilities for charging electric vehicles using MyBox Plus wallboxes. These represent an ideal solution for both home and commercial use. The design of the charging stations fits perfectly into the concept of a modern building - the beveled edge emphasizes clean design and creates space for a socket or cable holder.
Adequate Capacity with Room for Expansion
The Masaryčka building is now equipped with 24 MyBox Plus charging stations, enabling fast and convenient charging for tenants and visitors alike. The planned installation meets strict legislative requirements and is fully sufficient in terms of capacity. However, an advantage of infrastructure built with MyBox stations is also easy future expansion.
"The capacity of charging stations is currently sufficient, although it is still limited by fire regulations and technical capabilities of the building. We believe that future legislative changes will allow us to expand charging stations to other garage floors," adds Tomáš Veniger.
Result: Modern Building Supporting Electromobility
The Masaryčka project represents a significant step towards sustainable urban development. Thanks to the integration of modern technologies, whether it is the mentioned triple glazing, rainwater recycling, or electric vehicle charging using MyBox Plus stations, this building has become a model for other similar projects.
"Electromobility is the future for us. And something we probably cannot avoid," concludes Veniger. We are pleased that we can contribute to the support of electromobility with our domestically manufactured products. If you too want to take a step towards a more sustainable future and are looking for a partner to provide charging infrastructure, contact us. We will design a suitable solution for you and help you select the right model of charging stations.
